This is the place to find out what you want to know about the Nicholass family. The site is named, "The Nicholass Family of Southern England". This is because we believe that we originated, in this country, from the South West, either Cornwall or Shropshire. In the 18th and 19th centuries we have the name Nicholass first appearing in Kent, then London and then North in Derbyshire and Lancashire and some occurrences in Scotland.

There are branches of the Nicholass family throughout the U.K. and I have been in touch with many of these branches.
I have also been in touch with Australia and New Zealand as well as the U.S.A. where other branches exist. I have my own relatives in Pennsylvania (US) and Melbourne (AUST)
I have strong connections with Scotland through my wife's family. Robertson, Romanes, Scott, Sheridan, Hope, Grossart, Carrick.

There are other contacts with The Cavaliers, my Grandmother's maiden name. I have been able to research this side of the family back to 1530 in le Gruchet, Normandy.
